For highly active substances in particular, it is important that preparations of active ingredients or chemicals can be transported safely within a company. The EPTS (emission-free powder transport system) for small quantities of active ingredients is designed for this closed transport of solids (powders and granulates) under sterile conditions. The system consists of a central container with an optimized angle of repose, which is equipped with flap valves on both the filling and emptying sides, as well as a suitable modular system of attachments and closures (Tri-Clamp). Depending on the diameter, the active ingredient volume can range from 2 to 220 liters. The CIP system attached to the EPTS ensures 100% emptying and cleaning of the entire system without emissions. The EPTS is optionally available in Hastelloy or with Halar coatings. In addition to silicone, different sealing materials such as EPDM or PTFE (FDA-compliant) can also be used.
